The fourth of July is coming up and Herndon locals may be looking for some fun activities to celebrate with the family and friends. There are a handful of choices but the closest option for Herndon residents may be at Bready Park at the Herndon Community Center. There will be music, festive foods, rides, and it all starts at 5PM ET. At 9:30 PM ET there will be a coordinated firework show. Parking is available close by at Herndon Middle School.

Earlier this year, Frank Wolf and Tom Lathan requested an investigation be done into the MWAA. General Calvin Scovell, the U.S. Department of Transportation Inspector made an announcement on Tuesday that they needed to decide if the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is complying with the law. Also it needs to be determined if they are taking full responsibility in the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project.
